How do electrolytes work in our body?

Electrolytes are substances that become ions in solution and acquire the conduct electricity. Also electrolytes are present in human body, the balance of electrolytes in our bodies is essential for normal function of our cells and organs. 

The electrolytes are measure by doctors with blood testing include sodium, potassium, chloride, and bicarbonate.

1. Sodium(Na)

Function of Sodium: (1)The water regulation in the body, since the water goes where, it is excreted by the kidney, and water follows. (2)It help the electrical in the body, allowing muscles to fire and the brain to work.

Hypernatremia, if there is to much sodium in your body, then you will dehydration, that is cause by illnesses with vomiting or diarrhea, excessive sweeting from exercise or fever, or from drinking somethings that has too high concentration of salt.

Hyponatremia, if there is too little sodium in your body, that might be cause by water intoxication, that you drink too much water, then it dilutes the sodium in the blood and overwhelms the kidney's compensation mechanism, or by a syndrome of inappropriate anti-diuretic hormone secretion(SIADH).

2. Potassium 

Potassium is the most concentrated inside the cells of the body. It allows muscles and the brain to function.

Hyperkalemia, if there is too much potassium in your body, you will have heart rhythm problem.

Hypokalemia, if there is too little potassium in your body, that is because the body loses too much potassium from vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, and medications such as diuretics or laxative. It often seen in diabetic ketoacidosis, where potassium is excessively lost in the urine.

When the electricity go over the tungsten, the filament will issue the light and heat.

I wake up, go into the bathroom, I am going to wash my face, their will be no water come out.

I want to pee, I can't flush the water.

We need the motor to pump water, the motor need the electricity.

I eat the breakfast without heating using the microwave oven.

The microwave oven need the electricity be the power.

I have to walk or ride a bike to school, the school bus won't come.

The cars, scooters, motorcycles, buses need the electricity to start the engine.

I arrived to school, I have to climb over the wall.

The first doll of the school need electricity to open.

We can't turn on the AC, the fen and the light.

They all need electricity.

Also the teachers need to use the books to teach us, the computer is not working, and the projector is not working either.

The students can't use the computer to research the information.

The lunch will taste bad, because the refrigerator doesn't work.

And after school, I have to walk bake home.

We need to use the candles, there is no light. I can't watch TV.

I CAN"T DO MY HOMEWORK! !

a year in the prison. This website is called Pirate Bay, there are twenty-two million people on the Earth are

using this website to download the music, films, computer games, and this is illegal. This website is the 

highest profile file-sharing in the world, and this it's set up in 2003. The men have also pay £3m to who produce the music and games.

There are at least twenty-one people were died in the Afghanistan quakes, the worst place that get hit are in the 

mountains, and that area is very difficult to got help. There are at least four village had being serious damage, and also

there are about two hundreds houses being damage. Their house are not stronger enough, so even the small quakes can

make a lot of damage. People are helping, but there are still some people are under the house that haven't got out.

But I really don't understand why the small plane will crashed into a "cemetery".

Bizarre food in Taiwan

We watch the Travel channel. This time the Travel channel came to Taiwan and looking for the "Bizarre food". They found a lot of bizarre food that Taiwan has, Stinky dou fu, Fry dou fu, Dou fu with one thousand-years-egg, Chicken bottom, Uterus, Black bone, Coffin bread, Testicle......

- Dou fu with one thousand-year-egg: Cut the one thousand-year egg and Dou fu(haven't cook), some Green onion put them all together, then become the Dou fu with one thousand-year-egg. The foreigner thinks that this food is bad, and he don't like it. For me, I think that is not bad, I really like to eat the Dou fu that haven't cook, I think that tasted really tender, and the one thousand-year-egg is not bad too.

-Roast shrimp: In the movie, they catch the shrimps and roast them, and eat them. The foreigner thinks that is good. For me, the steps that I eat the shrimps is the same, but how I catch is different, I used the fishing pole and put on the bait, there is a big pool, and there are a lot of shrimps, the taste was good, because that just got caught, so they are very fresh.

-Testicle: It is the chicken-balls. For the foreigner, he thins that it taste really good, just like the milk jello put in the paper thin balloon, and it explode in his mouth. I like to eat the testicle so much, it taste so good, my grandma put it in the hot pot.

Medieval or The Middle Ages. We think of knights in shining armor, lavish banquets, wandering minstrels, kings, queens, bishops, monks, pilgrims, and glorious pageantry. And when I think about Rome, the things is emperor. In the Rome the emperor is the ruler, but in the Middle Ages, the pope is more powerful than the king. These is related to the religion, the main religion for the depend on the emperor. For the Middle Ages, the main religion is Christianity. If there is a person that has some relationship with them, then they can't go to haven when they died. 

When it was in the Rome, that was more peace, because all the Italy was govern by a emperor, a person. The Middle Ages had a lot of war, and King give many lands to nobles, knights..., the King didn't own the whole country.

1. Why didn’t everybody go to the same stations in the same order?

I think is because the dais won't give the same number to all of the people, that is same as the Nitrogen won't be the same thing at one time.

2. Did you go to the same station twice? If so, what does this tell us about cycles?

Yes, I do go to the same station twice, I went to the live plants. I think it tell us that the Nitrogen don't need to follow the cycle at all, it will change the step, but it still the Nitrogen.

Yes, I think the Atmosphere has more people at one time. I think that is because  their is more people got Atmosphere number, that is same as their is more Nitrogen transform to the Atmosphere.

In medieval Europe feudalism was the dominant form of political organization in medieval Europe. Blood Red Horse

Will hate Gavin, and Gavin doesn't like Will, the things that happen between they, they tell their father Sir Thomas what they think. The movie - River and Tide I saw he put  the icicle on the big stone, he do some thing kind of like art, I also saw him though the small stone, he use the wood, and make a small round house, and put it on the river, then the wood round house drift on the river. And I think there is a point- Time. He is try to tell us that" when the tine is over, nothing will left."

What I learn from the movie is the rive and time is really moving, I saw the natural environment is so beautiful, and the natural environment can control us.

The Knight

In the Middle Ages there are wars, King and noble need some stronger soldier, so they will discipline the young boy. Discipline a knight need 14 years, before they become the knight, they have to attend the noble woman.Knights have to learn how to fight and so serve their liege Lord according to the Code of Chivalry.Knight should be brave and fearless in battle but would also exhibit cultured Knightly qualities showing themselves to be devout, loyal, courteous and generous.Knighthood in the Middle Ages was a long and arduous task. Knighthood was not bestowed purely because a young man was the son of a noble. The steps towards achieving a knighthood started with training as a page and then as a squire, also referred to as esquire.The Knights job in the Middle Ages centred around enhancing their Knightly skills in the use of weapons, horsemanship and medieval warfare. The knight in the lowest class in the noble, the often just have a small fief.

I think the main character is Will and Gavin. They are brothers. Will like horse very much, he have a small horse, he like the horse, but then, what he really want to ride is a big and good horse. Gavin the oder bather of Will is mean. When Will is trying to write the big horse, then he call people go to watch Will, and laugh at him, Gavin says that Will ride the big horse just like a flea on a dragon. So than Will hate his oder brother Gavin.

I think in the chapter 2, I have the question, why is that a French aristocrat went to England can have the fief? Is

The big fire in Australia  Vast areas north of Melbourne, in the state of Victoria at Australia. There are tens of thousands of firefighters are extinguish the big fire, and there are heigh temperatures and the big winds. And the troop is going to help, but the died toll is still keep increase. Australia has been undergo the most hot in these ten years, the temperatures is reaching up to 47 degrees. The officer said the temperatures is dropping down. They can't control the fire until the rain come. Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said: "This is an appalling tragedy for Victoria and because of that it's an appalling tragedy for the nation." They are some report said that many places are starting the fire.

In America, there is a company. The company is making the dolls. The company already made a kind of doll called Sasha and Malia. The company is going to rename the dolls. Because the dolls name Sasha and Malia is same with the President Obama's children. And Obama's wife was not happy that the dolls has the same name with her kids.The company said the dolls said they weren't modelled on the first daughters but their names had suited the dolls.

China WebQuest reflection

When I was doing the China WebQuest I think I am a Critical thinker and Problem Solver, Active learners. 

I think Critical thinker and Problem Solver means that if you have the problem and you can solve by your self, with out asking anyone of the student or teacher, even your parents, and the main ideas that you think by your self, the things that you going more deeper,example in the China WebQuest, we will answer the questions on the mindmeister, and think more deeper, find the main idea that about China culture. 

I think the Active learner is if you have any question then you will ask, sometimes you want to ask somethings that you want to learn more about, and you always be very active, and you always work hard, and what to get more things from the teacher. Example from China WebQues, I always ask the questions when I am not really sure, and I did ask a lot about the iweb, because that was my first time to use the i-web. I will ask the English problem sometimes, too.

I think this project teaches me a lot about the Chia culture, we do i-web and we solve the problem ourself, and we think is more helpful that we just read the books, because we did that ourself.

They will let the people who has leprosy, they need to go a place that is just for them, because the normal people are afraid that they will contagious, and they look really scary, so the people don't like them.And they has an important race, harness the hours, run over the site about 9 times. There is no rules in the race, if you died in the race that is not someone killing you, there always has a lot of people that got hurt, or they died, that means they can use any ways that help they win, ether kill the people in the race. What I learn from the video:

In the Rome, the slavery is very pitiful, they have to work very hard, otherwise the people will use the whip to hit the slavery, and the must to work until they die. When the Rome fight with other ship on the sea, they use the balls that has fire throw to another ship, and try to let their ship got fire, and they will use the ship to bump other ship, when they bump, they need to row more faster, that was really tired.
